There are several parts to be assembled before you have a good pool. Pool filters are among the many pieces of pool equipment, which must be set correctly. These keep the water crystal clear and prevent the spread of skin diseases and allergies.
The more time passes, sand, dirt, leaves and other debris falling into the pool. If you are not a pool filter, then your pool is dirty white in no time. There are three types of filters available on the market.Cartridge filters, sand filters and earth filters.
• Cartridge filters - This is like your typical water filter in the kitchen. The water comes in, the dirt is left inside and the clean water comes out. Among the other filters, this is the most common. Ideally, this should be replaced every six months or as needed. Some filters due to the amount of dirt in the water tend to become dirtier faster.
• Sand filters - Like a cartridge filter, the water comes in, and the sand naturally filters the water. As the water comes in, all the impurities are left behind. This process maintains the cleanliness of the water. However, the sand needs backwashing every few weeks to ensure that the dirt will be washed away.
• Earth filters - According to most people, this is far the best filter. This type of filter can strain out dirt as little as five microns. But, like the sand filter this needs to be backwashed regularly to keep it clean and prolong its usage.
Most people think that you can just use a net to maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pool. But, this won't be very effective since most dirt and debris is pretty much invisible to the naked eye. If you want crystal clear water in your pool then it is best that you install a filter. This will make you feel more comfortable about the water that you swim in.
Having pool filters assure that the water in your swimming pool is safe and clean. Installing filters prevent you and your family from getting infected of skin allergies or diseases caused by bacteria and microorganisms.
